The Evacuation Day Heritage Committe is but a channel for the energies of others; children, educators, historians, preservation service organizations and our sponsors. We make the connections, our sponsors supply the resources and somehow the mission gets accomplished. That mission is to express to the children of this city's neighborhoods, the historical significance of the place from whence they hail, instilling a personal and civic pride. |
